Messy Church St. Gabriel’s Report 2017
Messy Church has continued to thrive this year, bringing families and community together to enjoy craft, food, and the word of God.
During the year, we covered themes such as; Jesus on the Beach, Epiphany, Love, and Jesus’ Journey. In October we held a light party which was a huge success.
Last year we found that our sessions were growing rapidly in numbers. We found it necessary to have families book spaces to ensure we worked within the capacity of the building. Bookings are done electronically through evenbrite.co.uk.
Our families anticipate Messy Church each month and it’s a great feeling to see the smiles on their faces when they leave.
Moving forward we hope to continue serve the community even with the building work fast approaching. We’ve been planning many Messy Church/Messy Craft sessions that will fit around the temporary space.
